Bringing down high gold numbers

blizz -> wysłany:
Im just spitballing here.
How about blizz removes the current copper in the game. The silver in your bag becomes copper and your gold gets divided by 100 to make gold and silver. Like for example, the 1,220,750 gold, 73 silver and 42 copper in my bags rn become 12207 gold 50 silver and 73 copper. Any drawbacks to this?
blizz -> wysłany:
Did you know...

There is actually no gold currency in the game. There is actually only Copper and everything is done in values of Copper and Gold is actually just a placeholder to make the number smaller. When you buy things from vendors or other players you're actually throwing mountains of Copper coins at them.

Everyone basically only has pennies and pays everyone in those pennies, we're all that terrible person.

Did you know I posted that earlier in the thread?

You're welcome and remember, knowing is half the battle!

EDIT: Assuming 145 copper pennies per pound (US all copper pennies) and 5 billion pennies, that comes to 34482758.6 pounds or 15674 metric tons.

Actually it would be 50 Billion, so times that by 10. You forgot one zero I think when raising it up.
