A long post is coming!
Thank you Ulthialix, Nokkariumh and Nydanlaar! I have a problem and i can’t launch the game since Monday, and so i contacted the support and in a few minutes i received the super kind and helpful Ulthialix answer, i tried many things that they suggest throughout these days and now i’m just waiting the last one, reinstall everything from the beginning and hope that is not an old god that invaded my PC! While waiting i need to say Thank you to all Blizzard team! To this fantastic family, from the support to the community manager, from who brings a coffe to the art department, from marketing to the Devs, and so on! Thank you!
I played Warcraft II and III, Diablo 1, 2 and 3, from time to time i visit Heroes of the Storm, and do the dailies in Heartstone! Yes... I’m a Blizzard fanboy that grown up with their games, their stories, their characters!
I play World of Warcraft since 2005, Horde, and i feel that the game grown up with me, give me always something to do and to enjoy this world... I have been here every “day one” for every expansion! In Vanilla and Burning Crusade i was a student, i had time so was a raider...
Then Wrath of the Lich King came a i went to university, the time was shrinking, no time for raid but storywise was a blast having my queen Sylvanas chasing Arthas... And those zones, Sholazar, Howling Fjord, Icecrown, Grizzly Hills. Dragonblight, i loved all zones, so different and so amazing...
Then i got married and Deathwing brought the Cataclysm to our lives... The time was less than ever and i played just to keep my main at a good pace, my druid. Again, every zone was amazing but Vashj’ir hit me in a special way... And Uldum... oh yes Uldum! I love questing and was almost all that i did in Cataclysm with some Archaeology and 5-man, on top of that i got something that i wanted for a long time... My Goblin!
Mists of Pandaria brought some fresh air and sense of adventure with more lovely zones and quests and many mounts to work on! Pet Battles was a little addiction and i gave some time to Raid Finder that for me was very fun! Yes i became a very casual player!
In Warlords of Draenor i was more established and had some more time, the story plot was not my favourite but the way the story was driven was amazing! Garrison had many fun things and was my time for alts and professions!
And here we are! Legion has been the best time for me in WOW, there are so many things to do... I love the story and how classes have different quests and flavours, and for me every spec is a different character! Maybe i’ll never come back to be a raider, maybe i'm old :P , because i don’t want the best gear, i want to have fun and live this world! I love the legendary system because when we get one it means something, is special! On forums i read so many complains about RNG, but RNG is something that this game needs, if we know everything that we will get it’s very boring! That’s why i like warforged/titanforged because anything can give some little progress, if i control all those things i’ll play less! Even being a casual player i have 11 max level characters, i’m just missing warrior, and i’m already leveling an Nightborne Ancane Mage and i love the new leveling system!
I’m very excited for Battle for Azeroth, i loved all that i have seen! For an Althoolic like me Allied Races are a must! I confess, i want to save Vulperas and make one! The way we unlock the races is amazing for who like to have a logic purpose! Thank you Blizzard! I hope that my Lady Sylvanas lives to become the best warchief, with all her special features! I already saw that girl to suffer too much just to become another Garrosh! I’ll be here on the day one to fight for the Horde!
For me this is the best game ever created and the one that i invested more time and i hope that we will be here for much much more! I don’t write on the forums because normally i’m playing the game on that time! Like me there are many more! Sometimes the community is too toxic but aren’t many of those loud voices that are enjoin the game! You are the masters of this game, Blizzard, is your story, your characters, your decisions, and i trust you, as always, to lead us for even better times! I’m a writer too and my stories are my stories, the other people enjoy it, or not, and can help it but i’m the ruler there!
