Did Thrall go against the rules of Mak'gora?

In Nagrand when Thrall and Garrosh are going at it, I notice Thrall wore armor and used elements. Wearing armor alone is forbidden, and when Thrall lost Doomhammer, he lost his 1 weapon. He proceeded to use elements, indicating a second weapon, ultimately denying the tradition and honor of the Mak'gora.

Also, to make note, Thrall is now an orc without honor + ruined Garrosh by leaving him without guidance.
