Will they ever consider a expansion specific server trial? People play Vanilla, level to 60, clear everything and are bored, so they UPDATE to Burning Crusade sorta like a server transfer in a way, clear it all, level to 70 (first lol) and are...well content. Or not? Bored? Pay another update fee of 30 bucks to go to Wotlk, of course they have to buy those expansions first. It seems like a good idea, it'll shut up people like me who just want to go back to a specific expansion to experience it more fully. And it will make money. I know its a lot of work, but with as amazing as WoW is now, i'm sure they can do it with time!
