I mean, here's a small, not exhaustive, list:
-Nigh Elves have lost their immortality, their capital city, heck, their entire tree, is massively corrupted, while other areas are LITERALLY breaking apart if not being attacked by orcs!
-Gnomes are trying to STILL trying to regain fully their capital city
-Worgens don't even have a capital city!
-Dranei are still trying to help their corrupted cousins, and frankly, we're still wondering what's up with them since BC. The fact the "new" BE lore was literally OLD lore is not very promising . . .
-The park, stormwind, surrounding areas, all poor and in need of major repairs. You think that bridge is ever gonna be built? The rumour I've heard is that the park is gonna be turned into a Pandarian chinatown . . . the horror!
-Dwarves trying to resolve issues with the dark hammers; although frankly, they seem to be in the best situation relatively speaking.
WAIT- it's worse than I realized, their leader is in statue form . . . :(
You know how long I think he'll stay that way? FOREVER!
and then in that blog post the writer says "Frankly, I'm surprised there even still is an Alliance!" Well, yeah - gee, did you even think to keep track of all the tragedies that have been afflicted on the Alliance?
Now they talk of focusing on the alliance and especially Wrynn, but what's the first thing to do?
DESTROY THEREAMORE!
I just can't see this all being repaired next expansion, and to be honest, I'm not sure if there will be further expansions . . .
I wanna have faith that there will be all these events to repair the damage, but sorry, I just don't have faith. It disappeared with today's OLD lore.
I imagine Greymane forever saying "Soon we will retake Gilneas"
Seriously, when the original game was called "human vs. orcs", who expected the orks to be the winners? I didn't realize when I signed up for the Alliance when I began this game that I would spend it being the Horde's punching bag!
