I've never had any major problems with tanks. The occasional cocky one, the occasional undergeared one, but never any that were so spitefully bad as this: Tank zoned in naked, waited for the whole group to be zoned in, then ran to the first group and pulled. Of course, he died, then called the healer fail for not healing him, and warned that dps needed to pick it up. So we zone back in again, he gears up and says "let's do this" then runs in, his hunter pal misdirects to the healer and multishots, the tank just stands there, and we wipe again. Hunter makes up a ridiculous ghosting thing and blames one of the other dps for wiping the group. Needless to say, the tank was kicked, the hunter left immediately after.
Now, I would have thought maybe this was isolated, but we queue back up and get another tank. We go for a bit and we wipe further in, after the first boss. He leaves and we get another tank. This new one is suspiciously ungeared, and immediately pretty nasty. He gets to us and gears up. He goes up to pull, bags all his gear and runs in naked, wiping us. I think the funniest thing I've heard in a while came from one of the other dps, as this new tank laughed at us and said, "I bet you're missing your old tank now aren't you?" and he replied with, "It's like he never left."
Is this something new? Tanks stripping down and wiping pugs for no reason other than the luls? When did this start if it's not new? I've had rough pugs, but never have any of them been this miserable.
PS - we finally did get a decent tank and finished the instance without further incident.
