First let me say I don't post on here often, and this is not intended to be a flame thread so plz don't take/make it that way.
I finally read through Ghostcrawlers post about wow dungeons being hard. And I've seen several posts that feel like folks were being talked down to. Now lets leave out the actual content of what is being said in that post since it doesn't matter really, at least in regards to this topic.
But since Blizzard always wants constructive criticism heres some :). If you don't want players to take things personally take the personal out of it and don't use the implied individual of "you".
For example:
Ghostcrawler-
"Finally, the encounters, even the bosses, ended up having a sameness to them because you could ignore their mechanics. It didn't matter -- in fact, you didn't even notice -- if the dragon breathes or silences or drops a void zone. The fights all felt the same."
Perhaps-
"Finally, the encounters, even the bosses, ended up having a sameness to them because mechanics could be ignored. It didn't matter -- in fact, it was barely noticeable -- if the dragon breathes or silences or drops a void zone. The fights all felt the same."
The second one I can find nothing to discuss other than content of the point being made. The, first however, questions whether or not I personally was careless, a point which could vary by person. Maybe this is semantics but I do see where a lot of folks were coming from, and subtle changes like this might provide useful insight from the devs without the personal connection that we tend to latch onto so easily.
