Aggra, the new Portuguese realm.” wysłany:
I want to ask Blizzard, in fact, beg them to make the transfers to all Portuguese players throughout World of Warcraft EU realms to have the chance of making a long dream come true: to gather all the Portuguese community in our own realms.

With the launch of the Portuguese version of World of Warcraft, and the subsequent influx of players both here in Europe and in Brazil, I think it should be morally correct for Blizzard to support this launch by offering us, Portuguese players and paying customers, the chance to migrate and faction change (if possible) for free and for all realms.

Currently there is only one realm called Aggra-PVE (opens tomorrow) who is accepting free transfers from (strangely I must say) only 3 PVP realms which Blizzard thought that had high enough Portuguese players to be worth caring about...

We are players, equal, not first class players, not second class players... just players who all pay the same amount to play. And we do it because WE LOVE THIS GAME.
I honestly think it would make us so much happier and have so much more respect for Blizzard if they allowed us to freely join our fellow Portuguese players in one or two realms, with FREE TRANSFERS FROM ALL REALMS.
I think Blizzard can accomplish this feat with either checking our accounts for nationality, or opening the realms freely. We want to play TOGETHER!

Its a disrespect and belittle of all the other Portuguese players who are not in one of those lucky PVP realms (Grim Batol (PvP), Frostmane (PvP) andBurning Steppes (PvP)) to have to pay to play with fellow players.
The Spanish and Russians had FREE TRANSFERS, so why cant us, Portuguese players have the same ?

Are we not enough to be cared about ?

Why the change of attitude for the Portuguese when the Spanish and Russians had it free?

Why are we not getting a separate tab called "Portuguese" for our realm?
(Including our realm in the "English" tab not only does not make sense but it will inevitably make players from other nationalities join it, misleading them to think it is an English speaking realm.)

I would like to know why we only have free transfer from only 3 realms and who would have though that only including 3 PVP realms would make a good idea for a free transfer to a PVE realm?
Those who love PVP would continue to love PVP, I really doubt they will want a PVE server even if it has our community there and free transfer...

Please, if you are Portuguese or even if you are not but are also concerned why we are being treated differently, please show your support here and raise a ticket asking these questions.
We play, we pay and we deserve at the very least some explanations.

We were told that the Portuguese community outside of the 3 realms were not big enough to grant a free transfer.
We were also told that they only opened 3 realms so the new realm Aggra doesn't get overcrowded.

If we are not getting free transfers or the other realms with the supposedly so few Portuguese players, why is Blizzard afraid that the new realm will get overcrowded?

It simply does not make sense. If you don't give us transfer because we are so few, then how come you are afraid that the "so few" of us will overcrowd the new realm?

The wisest thing to do here is:

- Open 2 realms, one PVE and one PVP.
- Offer free character transfer to ALL Portuguese players.
- Create a separate tab just like the other languages for Portuguese.

Thanks for reading and please keep this thread serious, this is a very serious matter and I would like to keep the level of maturity high.

Let me get this straight...

  • Blizzard is launching a Portuguese PVE Realm.
  • All players (including Portuguese players) PAY EVERY MONTH to play.
  • Spanish players got FREE CHARACTER MIGRATION from ALL realms to their new Spanish-realms (they only didn't get free faction change because it wasn't yet available as a service).
  • Russian players got FREE CHARACTER MIGRATION and FREE FACTION CHANGE from ALL realms to their new Russian-realms.
  • Portuguese players get free character migration FROM ONLY 3 PVP REALMS. Not to say that these transfers are from PVP realms to a PVE realm and neither do we get a free faction change.
  • This is a GREAT INSULT to both the PORTUGUESE and the INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY. There aren't portuguese players only in Grim Batol(PvP), Frostmane (PvP) and Burning Steppes (PvP), but in ALL EUROPEAN REALMS. All players should be treated equally, everyone has the same rights!

Blizzard, you should reconsider this action and make it so that every portuguese player, from ANY REALM, can Free Character Migrate and Free Faction Change from ANY REALM.
