Many of you have probably noticed, when using the forum quote features sometimes author/date/time show and sometimes doesn't.
In my experience it has nothing to do with editing or changing the original quote. I've tested this every way possible. Everything from editing parts of the quote to doing the simplest most straightforward manner of quoting --- i.e. simply use the quote icon, make a short comment and post. No matter what is done, sometimes the author/date/time show and sometimes not.
VERY VERY frustrating.
I've searched past threads. I've tried posting this issue in the tech support/website forums with no response from Blizz moderators that I can see anywhere. We get no feedback regarding this issue whatsoever. Additionally, it's not in the list of "known" issues that I can find on any of the bug reporting forums.
I am posting this in General in case I've missed the "official" reason or "fix" on our end for this issue (i.e. problem originating from forum user browser setting, browser choice, etc.) somewhere or sometime in the past in hopes someone may shed some light on it. As mentioned, forum search yields nothing as regards a solution or even a CS/moderator response.
