Heirloom shield - Why not?” wysłany:
Hello, first time poster here. I couldnt find any simmilar threads with the search function, and I'm sorry if this has been brought up before.

The Problem:
So as the title suggests, Im sort of wondering why there arent any heirloom shields available to our younger characters. I'm also suggesting a solution further down. I realized the problem and the need for some change the other day while leveling a cute and cuddely dwarf prot paladin. I couldnt exactly queue up for dungeons as tank, since I didnt come across a viable shield untill late 20's. That shield was green, and a couple of levels below my own. 2 hours later I was without a viable shield again. Joining the dungeon queue as DPS takes a long long time becus few people chose to tank. If you join as a healer, most of the paladin/warrior tanks you come across are gonna be tanking with the Arcanite Reaper. So its obvious there is a need for heirloom shields while leveling.

The solution:
Archaeology is a great profession for uncovering stuff of the past, such as the Dal'rend sword and Arcanite Reaper. Why not shields? In a perfect world I would find a [Reforged Bulwark of Azzinoth] while surveying a demon-infested area such as Outlands, however there are no demonic fragments to be uncovered in Azeroth as of today. A more reasonable suggestion could then be a [Restored Aldori Legacy Defender], put together by Draenei fragments. Any old shield would solve the problem explained above, but those 2 models are my favourite ones ;) Obviously they might aswell be sold by a vendor, but that wouldnt be as fun.

TL;DR - Add Heirloom shields to the game!

What are the thoughts of the community? Would you like to see heirloom shields? Which models would you prefer? How would it be obtained?
