So Neutral AH sniping with a bot is ok?” wysłany:
We have an neutral AH sniper using a bot. We did some testing by seeing what thresholds his bot uses and it looks like if the vendor sale price is greater than the ah buyout price, he buys it. To test if it was a bot or a real person just sniping really fast, me and a few friends bought hundreds of stacks of lvl 5 water and listed stacks of 2 for 1 copper. We were listing hundreds per minute and he was buying out no more than 1 second after listing them. We sold this guy roughly 5000 waters where he would only make a 1cp profit tonight.

We have placed tickets about this guy but the GM says what he is doing is perfectly legal. I thought using a bot that allows you to perform actions in the game without actually being at the computer was against the rules. Apparently not.

Anyways, if any of you guys run into one of these sniper bots and you want to xfer something over to the other faction, test the waters first with a cheap item. If it gets bought out for 1cp, then you can assume it's a bot. To xfer your item over, just make sure you list the buyout higher than the vendor sellback price and their bot won't buy it. Tested this as well.
