And I'm pretty sure it's WoW's fault. :)
I didn't meet him on WoW, but he got me into the game shortly after we met and that's mostly how I talked to him. He asked me out several times over the course of about two years; I finally agreed and life has been a blast ever since.
That was just after Christmas. Last weekend he gave me the prettiest diamond ring I've ever seen, and now we get to plan a wedding. (Wheeee. Not too sure I'm exicted about that part. xD) I'll be an official step-mommy to his adorable 4yo son too, which is awesome.
Hope this is WoW-related enough to prevent deletion; if it wasn't for our mutual WoW addiction after he got me started, I wouldn't have gotten to know him well enough to give him a chance. Rather than wooing me in person, he used the game to start a connection despite my antisocial, shut-in personality. Sounds kind of pitiful when I put it that way, but I don't know what I'd be doing today if he had given up the first dozen times I said no.
See, sometimes the WoW community has a lot to offer. Like a wonderful fiance. :D
