Help me understand Timeless Isle” wysłany:
Hi all,

So I'm trying to understand how Timeless Isle is "The quick way to gear."

I have been questing there on my mage, and first and foremost, I have have been having huge problems killing the elites. Not sure if I am just 100% scrub, or if you generally take a group in to fight them. I thought this was largely a solo grind area.

Second, the tournament in the center. It seems like unless you are in a group with the person fighting who draws aggro, you get no loot. I thought that wasn't the case, because the first time I joined in the fight against one of them, I got loot even though I wasn't grouped.

However, on subsequent attempts, I have been dying once or twice during the encounter. In encounters where I do, I don't get any freaking loot. So what's the rule, you can get loot but only if you don't die? More than 1 of them has an AoE that does like 100k dps!

I have not been enjoying my time here, but seems like a great resource. Am I missing something here?
