Thunderclap, clarification needed” wysłany:
So we are kind of throwing around idea's in the tank lounge, and a lot of us are a bit confused when it comes to TClap in WoD for Warriors, notable it's use and availability. Yesterdays update to the blog had these notes.

Thunder Clap now costs 30 Rage, and also reduces the movement speed of nearby enemies by 50% for 6 seconds. Requires Defensive Stance or Gladiator Stance and is no longer available to Fury Warriors.
Blood and Thunder has been removed.
Deep Wounds is now available only to Protection Warriors, and naturally triggers from Thunder Clap.
Thunder Clap is now available only to Protection Warriors, and its damage has been increased by 50%.
Whirlwind now requires Battle Stance and is available only to Fury and Arms Warriors.

These notes, to me indicate that TClap will become Prot only, when it's kind of confusing on how the notes are presented. It specifically states that it's being removed from Fury in one post, but doesn't mention anything about Arms. Logically, it's being removed from Arms as well because with the buff TClap is getting baked into it, it would be significantly stronger than WW could ever potentially be, as well as there's a note stating that Deep Wounds would be trigged by TClap, which is now Protection only as well.

Here's the part where everyone is confused though, and there's no clarification on.

Unwavering Sentinel in it's current iteration, removes the rage cost of TClap for Protection, so why is there a rage cost increase? My natural thought was a Unwavering Sentinel change was not in the notes, and that Warrior tanks will have to make the same decision that Blood Death Knights have to make when choosing between AE threat and AE DPS or Active Mitigation through the proposed changes with our Rune Tap being on the same runes as Pest. Because, with how I read into it Protection Warriors will have to choose between TClap OR rage for Block/Barrier.

So my question is, will Thunderclap have a 30 rage cost for Protection Warriors in WoD?

Is this a common trend that we will see all tanks getting, having to pick between AE threat/damage and Active Mitigation?
