First off, it's way too soon. Itemization numbers and general game number are not that big as of yet to make such a drastic change. I don't think they will be even remotely big to make such a change when MoP gets released. We are only in the 100-200k+ zones for health. Damage meters are still only 10k-40k+. These numbers are totally reasonable. I'll ignore the fact that players love to see big numbers on their screen, which is another point against this item squish. I can understand if players were getting close to 1,000,000 DPS, then an item squish talk would be in order, but still taking that route is in my opinion, a players least favorable one when numbers could just be shortened (as mentioned before by Blizzard) while still keeping the item level (i.e. 1,000k vs. 1,000,000 or whatever).

I am totally in agreement with the majority of players that an item squish will just be one big massive nerf. Without stating the obvious talks, I fail to see 1 positive for an item squish other than reducing stat and meter numbers. Numbers that as of right now, and in MoP, are not that "gigantic" that require such a huge "nerf" to the players.

If this item squish does take place, it goes against Blizzard's idea of making sure new content can't be run with older tier, lower level players. Unless after every few expansions Blizzard has to do an item squish again to balance the future content gear order out.

My point is, I don't want to see it. I don't want to be nerfed. I like seeing big numbers. I like increasing, and I don't wanna see a huge decrease. I don't wanna die to a level 70 player who ganked me, or have to get a group together to run Strathholm for the deathcharger mount.

Please. No giant squish. At least not now in MoP.
