By giving away a level 80 character, Blizzard is saying that leveling from 1-80 is not needed to be a functioning member of the WoW Community.
Then why have people level from 1-80? If its not needed.

Leveling to 80 is an accomplishment.
When you give it away for free, that accomplishment is devalued. What Blizzard is saying is that leveling from 1-80 is not needed to be a functioning member of the WoW Community. Why even have levels 1-80 then? Edit: Changed 85 to 80. |
