Great work Blizzard. Something that took a grind and had a moderate cost now is just absurd. It's not a gold sink, people just won't buy them now. Great change, was SO needed. Slapping on a 160k extra gold cost for 4 mounts is SO awesome. Makes so much sense.

Keep up the good work, spend your attention on nerfing toys, these are the CORE issues we all want addressed, and continue to make changes that help us stay in our garrison even more like Apexis daily change.

I look forward to more sensible and needed changes.

I've posted a reply clarifying that the change to gold cost for certain mounts on the 6.1 PTR wasn't intentional on a different thread here. Locking and redirecting to consolidate the topic.

The modified gold cost was part of a change that's still in currently progress to make the mounts/items vendor refundable for gold. Once those changes have been fully implemented, the gold costs should return back to its current levels on the live realms.

TL;DR, there are currently no plans to change the cost of the mounts in question when patch 6.1 goes live.
