Is there a way to completely mute rhonin?

Every time I go to dalaran to get some tier tokens turned in or buy some transmog gear that damned algalon event goes on every 2 minutes and it gets annoying.

Is there a way to completely mute the event without completely muting all sound in game? And hopefuly blizz will make it so it is muted by default. Can barely stay in the city for more then a minute without this going on. IT GETS ANNOYING.

There was a hotfix from December 10 designed to alleviate that particular concern.
