There's been a number of hotfixes around Battleground Honor gains and got clarification on how it's supposed to work.
At the beginning of Patch 6.0.2 there was no bonus Honor. We implemented a hotfix to grant 135 Honor for a win but mistakenly added it for all Battleground wins instead of only when queuing for a Random Battleground.
In patch 6.0.3, this was corrected and the bonus Honor is now only awarded for a win when queuing for a Random Battleground. Additionally, we restored the 45 Honor bonus for losing when queued for a Random Battleground.
If you want your bonus Honor, queue for Random Battlegrounds.

The change to restore bonus Honor for losing a Random Battleground was added in 6.0.3. The fix to correct bonus Honor being incorrectly awarded for winning any Battleground instead of only Random Battlegrounds is in a hotfix that was implemented during maintenance but took place after the patch and I haven't had a chance to post today's hotfix blog yet.

Honor gains for specific queues are still half of what they were in 5.4.8. So basically still a stealth nerf to push everyone into randoms only. Thanks for the clarification now, but the fact that it was reduced so much, and then broken, and then hotfixed--zero of which were communicated or documented in patch notes--is embarrassing.
In 5.4.8 there was a 135 Honor bonus for the first win of the day in addition to the standard 135 Honor bonus for winning a Random Battleground.
There is no bonus for the first win of the day in 6.0.2.
Reading through the replies, a whole bunch of comments about feelings on the change. Thanks for the feedback and I'll relay the sentiment but it didn't help with the initial question if people are correctly receiving their bonus Honor after winning a Random Battleground.
I'm getting conflicting reports that people are both receiving and not receiving their bonus Honor. The bonus Honor does not show up on the scoreboard and is only awarded if you queue up for a Random Battleground.
If you want to encourage random, add more incentives, do not take away from individual queuing.
Really bummed me out, was going to get some better gear before xpac, but now it's just a waste of time.
Winning a Battleground still awards honor, and that the bonus Honor was unintentionally added as a 6.0.2 hotfix (when it was intended to be only for a Random BG win).
Wanted to give a heads-up that there's a hotfix being worked on (no ETA but soon without the TM) to increase the amount of Honor gains for Arathi Basin, Deepwind Gorge, Eye of the Storm, and The Battle for Gilneas. We're changing it so Honor is awarded for every 150 resources gathered (up from Honor awarding for every 250 resources gathered).
There's a hotfix in the works that should clear up some of the confusion as to how much bonus Honor is being awarded at the end of a match. We're going to see if we can change it so a popup displays the amount of Honor gained when you finish a Random Battleground. It should be similar to the popups you get for Timeless Coins when you defeat a rare on Timeless Isle.
As mentioned earlier in the thread, we're working to increase Honor gains for Arathi Basin, Deepwind Gorge, Eye of the Storm, and The Battle for Gilneas. The next part is only being considered so don't hold us to it; but we're exploring ways to increase Honor gains for the losing team in Warsong Gulch.
