I was wondering what is the point of the bear form with feral when you can't really tank with it. I know that gaurdian is the tank spec so why is there even a bear form for feral class? Is it even a viable tank at all?

I've saved raids from wipes on a few occasions as a Feral Druid with Heart of the Wild talent allowing me to fill-in as a stopgap tank for a short while the rest of the raid battle rez the tank.
While soloing, if I accidentally get overwhelmed taking on too many mobs at once, Bear Form is still more durable than Cat Form and combined with Frenzied Regeneration has saved my bacon a few times. |
