The first step towards participating in the Hearthstone World Championship at BlizzCon 2014 is to qualify for a Championship Qualifier Tournament! There’s a few ways you can become eligible to participate in the Championship Qualifier Tournaments, and our community run tournaments are here to help you get in on all the action!
From now until August 31, participating and performing well in one of the community tournaments listed below may net you a spot on the Championship Qualifier Tournament list! The player who places first at these tournaments will be awarded a seed into the appropriate Qualifier Tournament as long as they meet the eligibility requirements found in the official rules. If the winning player is already qualified for the tournament, or is found to be ineligible, the seed will not move down to the next placing player. Qualifier Tournament seeds are allocated by tournament region; For example, if the community tournament event takes place in the European region, the winner of that event will earn a seed to the Hearthstone Europe Qualifier Tournament.
None of the events below are operated by, nor are they in conjunction with, Blizzard Entertainment. These are also not the only events where a seed will be offered; some events will be weekly while others may be one-time events. Be sure to check back often for information about events as they are added, and also keep an eye out for updates from your favorite community tournament organizers.
Check out the links below for more information on what tournaments have been selected to offer a spot at the Championship Qualifier Tournament table. Last updated on July 14, 2014.
