Why I have no idea. Sign in - ok, Retrieve my character-ok, 15 seconds later I am disconnected from the server. Happening in all the realms I sign in to.

Try disabling all of your addons and see if that fixes the issue. If you stop getting disconnected, then you know something has gone haywire. If not, you can always try seeking help in our Tech Support forum: http://us.battle.net/wow/en/forum/1011701/
