Community Project For the Raiding Inexperienced

blizz -> wysłany:
**Just a note: This isn’t a boosting service as such. It’s to help those who want to raid, learn the skills and gain the experience they need to get into the raiding scene. If you are thinking you can just contact me and I’ll carry you through SoO without you needing to do anything, you’re horribly mistaken.**

So in this day and age on WoW, If you want to start learning to raid, or even just want to start raiding on an alt, it can be very hard to find a solid guild or team who will take you. You either lack experience/kills, an item level that’s higher than the gear that drops in the actual instance, or now a legendary cloak. Inspired by a challenge mode thread that was posted here, I’ve decided to take action on this myself.

I’m looking to build up a community where there’s no such thing as a silly question. While there are a lot of resources online, not everyone knows where to look, sometimes it’s better to just ask somebody directly, or you just need that group of people willing to give you a chance.

Now before people start commenting “xxx ilevel boost me through xx/14 SoO” That’s not how this will work. What I’m calling out for right now are people who would be interested in such a project and up for joining in. Whether you’re completely new, or extremely experienced everyone is welcome to join in and help out.

So I’m hoping to have two aspects to this. First would be a guild in game (which I won’t talk about here. If you want more information then go to our (temp) website: http://projectprogress.enjin.com/home). The second aspect, an active out of game community. This will be on the same website. This is what I wish to talk about here.

So this out of game community will hopefully become a hub to ask questions you may be too embarrassed to ask elsewhere, or find/build teams to embark on raids without necessarily meeting requirements you may be asked for in game or on Open Raid. With the introduction of raids being cross realm, if you and other players are struggling to get into groups due to the lack of an achievement or a certain boss kill, I hope to help those people get together and create a group and learn without being whined at for not being perfect on your first try.

Hopefully with a good mix of experienced players we’ll be able to guide more players into raiding (and even challenge modes and other PvE goodies) and show new raiders that there’s no reason to be intimidated by the new, more elitist, raiding atmosphere that’s emerged over the years.

Now I know some people will have issues like “We ask for that ilevel because we need it” etc etc. While yes, you do need a certain level of gear, some people do ask for too much. As an example, a friend of mine was 570 ilevel and got rejected form a flex run because they wanted 575. It’s getting a bit silly. This is primarily going to be aimed at those who want to raid but aren't sure what they can do to make the steppes to get the gear, or perhaps they have the gear, but without any previous kills/achievements they aren’t getting accepted into any guilds or PuG runs. Once again, this isn’t going to be some boosting service. There’s a difference between not knowing and being lazy. This community is for those who wish to learn and are willing to put the effort in, they just need that extra hand.

So, sound good? Interested in being an advisor or looking to find some friendly guidance? Wondering how you can join in? Well you can either leave a comment below, or leave your BattleTag for me to add if you have any questions at all. You can also go to the website linked previously (I’m Waffles on that site) and send me a PM saying you’re interested in either being an advisor or you’re looking for some advice. Please make sure if you do this you specify if you’re interested in the in-game community or out of game community so I don’t include you into the wrong thing!

Hope to see you around!
