Do Blizz CM have their own in-game character?

My guild thinks I'm flaky due to my attendance since I can never make it to a raid on time, and I recently lost a roll in a random PUG for the Smoldering Egg of Millagazor (Vader noooooooo). [Edit: Fixed. Off by 6 item numbers, wheee.]
