Why is blizzard giving out free legendaries to LFR-peop

blizz -> wysłany:
I am talking about 5.4 legendary cloaks.
Seriously. Why give LFR "people" the same items that worthy people who do the ACTUAL raids on normal difficulty get?
I remember in vanilla less than 1% of players finished naxx and no one complained but now people think they should without any effort just press a button and finish ToT in 10 minutes?
Why was LFR ever added to this game?
And what is the point of legendary items if everyone has them? They should just be downrated to green and epics should be poor-quality items.
blizz -> wysłany:
Blizzard have said that their plan for legendary items will make more sense closer to the time that 5.4 ships. So it's best to wait and see before sounding alarm bells.

This. Also,

I remember in vanilla less than 1% of players finished naxx and no one complained

I beg to differ. Starting a new expansion without ever having seen the big bad boss of the last one felt a little disappointing, I recall.

Do you feel it's a good use of our development team's time to design, populate, test and implement an entire raid that only a tiny fraction of the playerbase will even be able to enter, let alone complete? There is currently content in the game aimed at top players, such as heroic raids and challenge modes—anyone looking for a grueling experience can tackle these encounters, now without the expense of less content for everyone else. We're interested to hear any further feedback on this of course ^^
