I got hacked even though I have an authenticator.

Hello dear wowplayers, I just wanted to create this thread to inform you that apparently you can get hacked even though you have an authenticator.

I was away this weekend because my friend turned 18 and when I got home earlier today I tried to log in to the game but it told me I had the wrong password etc.
I managed to log in to the website though which is weird to me.

I have an authenticator so if it's true what blizzard says it shouldn't be possible to hack my account?

I talked to a friend and she told me that I had been logging in and out on all my characters earlier today, when I in real life was spending some boring hours on a train.

So... Just warning you, apparently you can get hacked even with an authenticator.

Hello Mauricio. As you were told by the GM who dealt with your ticket, there has been no activity on your account since the last time you logged in, so your friend must have been mistaken. If you're still having trouble logging in, please contact Customer Support again so they can try to help you resolve the password issue.
