The problem with Cross-Realm Zones

blizz -> wysłany:
Before you start up a major discussion, I know that there are several other threads about this topic but I don't really care as I feel a need to list the issues that it's brining into the game.
I will list why they are here and the result of it.

Reason to why they are here:
- Bring life to all of the zones in Azeroth
- Bring life to low populated realms

Whilst these are very good reasons for the change to be here, and IT HAD GOOD POTENTIAL, it didn't really work out at all and it's just serving as a confusing and irritating change.

Why does it not work out?
- It doesn't affect the Auction House, meaning that bringing servers to life only works in zones that are under the effect of Cross-Realm merges. The problem with low populated realms isn't really the amount of players nowadays since you can crossrealm everything. The problem is that there is no items available on the Auction House and the economy is in a poor state on all of the low-pop realms.
- Zones that have rare mobs are now extremely crowded and the mounts such as TLPD and Aeonaxx are even more inaccessable now then they were before. Unless you make the rare mobs still only visible for a specific realm, this just doesn't work.
How should it be fixed?
-> There are a couple of ways to solve this issue really and they are:

- Make the Auction House and trade channels cross-realm aswell, and enable cross-realm trades for all items.
- Change it so that PvP is an option that has to be turned on by the player, even if it's a PvP realm because there's no fun in zoning in somewhere and just find yourself dead.
- Reduce the amount of servers that this affect, and remove realms that already have a good population, I have seen realms like The Maelstrom which is a server with a good population and thus doesn't need this.
- Revert this change and ACTUALLY MERGE realms.

All in all, we all know that Cross-Realm Zones was blizzards way of making money. They didn't want to merge realms because that would give them a lot less money from players wanting to change realms, and any argument that is saying that it's a hard change to make, NO IT'S NOT, if you can make cross-realm zones, you can merge servers.
The main reason that this is sounding a bit like QQ is because it is really. I just find it frustrating that when I logged of yesterday I was the guy that everyone targeted, now I am just one of them all, players playing on low-pop are there because they enjoy the feeling of being the best, and this just took all of that away from me. I don't really enjoy being one of them all, I have been "DAT GUY" for the entire expansion and I am not really enjoying, aswell as many others to be "another guy"..

Good try Blizzard, but this solves nothing.

Yes, as Raiju said, we need you to post this in one of the existing threads. Having a separate discussion spring up elsewhere is not helpful :(
