[Discussion.] Forum ban equals a ingame ban.

blizz -> wysłany:
Being a troll on the forums makes you suffer an ingame ban at the same time. It is a good idea, and certainly will keep the forums clean of invasive trolls that think they are funny, or can harass freely.

This topic was lifted upon the US forums, and after a good read through I must say that I like the idea of it. A forum should be for information and discussion. Not to right out harass and insult. Personally, I am all for it, and I am sure it would make trolls think twice before they act stupid.

Can't play nice, I take the toy away from you?

Although, I am aware this idea has its flaws, I am curious about what the European community thinks of the idea.

Why would he? He's just a voice on the forums, like you and me, so he won't get in trouble for voicing his opinion. Silly of you to think otherwise.

I think both forum- and game bans should be equal. Banned on the forums = banned ingame, banned ingame = banned on the forums. If you can't behave yourself in one, you can't behave yourself in the other, so banned on both would be good. Not sure if ingame ban = forum ban already exists, as I've never been banned ingame.

MVP doesn't mean that they speak for Blizzard, they are as free to speech their opinion as everyone else does! So, the goblin got a point.

And, I believe you ain't able to post on the forums if your account is banned. There will be a lock, I believe. I could be wrong though.

MVPs are perfectly entitled to state their opinion, so long as they abide by the forum rules. And, as has been stated more than once, they do not speak for Blizzard.

In response to your query, suspension or banishment from the game will always result in the same in regard to forum access (taken directly from the Code of Conduct).
