My PTR client was working fine till the patch... now every time I click to get on the launcher or even click straight into wow.exe, it says checking for updates for about 10 minutes then gives me this error. I looked at my process and it seems to be opening 6 different Agent.exes for some reason, and still is.
A little bit ago, I tried just ending all the extra Agent.exes... and it worked, but then I'd get an error from the launcher saying "world of warcraft beta is already running" which of course it wasn't. Now it's back to just the error. Does anyone know a fix for this?
/E: Okay, now it's something else.
I decided to just reinstall it because it was pissing me off... now when I click install I get
"Failed to download a required installation file(http://dist.blizzard.com.edgesuite.net/wow-"
something like that and a couple more lines, but I can't copy/paste it and I can't read half of it cuz it's for some reason cut off. >_>

Also please make sure that Internet Explorer is not set to run in Offline Mode as this can cause the launcher to not properly update. |
