Thread reported?

I don't understand. Are some people really that vindictive so as to have a thread reported (and deleted) for mentioning in-game harassment? I was going through the responses page by page and they actually helped me a lot. It helped me see some kindness and understanding in the community. I haven't said anything remotely offensive nor was there any abuse (or off-topic unrelated material taking place).

I also was not "whining". I posted in that thread a grand total of three times including the original post and not one did I "bump" it. I guess there is no place in WoW for the weak or sensitive. For those who offered kind words and support, I thank you. It has meant a lot to me.
