Bliz refunded my 5x cata upgrades over scroll

I'm a multiboxer with 5 accounts. I quit playing WOW 2 years ago.

Recently, as in one week ago I reactivated my five accounts. Scroll of resurrection was unavailable. :(

I just got off the phone with Blizz CS after a couple of phone discounts and incredibly long hold times. The reps were friendly, emphatic and perhaps most important, Americans. Sorry, I hate having to call India.

I requested that they reduce my accounts back to Wrath of the Lich King (and refund the $200 I spent in upgrading 5 accounts) and reset my eligibility.

I think the rep wanted to but wasn't able to, so I asked for a manual adjustment of the $200 along with the server/faction change to move my accounts to realm where most of the other multiboxers play and free level 80 character per account on the new realm.

In other words, the benefits of the scroll. My rep asked their supervisor but was shot down, I'm currently awaiting a call back but it doesn't look promising.

So plan B is to simply quit WOW all together. The folks in billing are willing and able to downgrade my 5 accounts back to Wrath in the Lich king and refund my 5 subscriptions (since I wouldn't be able to play my characters as they are level 85) because I upgraded less then 30 days ago.

I would really prefer to keep my accounts active, play WOW and get the benefits of the new promotion but it seems that Blizzard would rather me just cancel my accounts and the $75/mo that goes along with them.

If I go this route I'll be eligible for the scrolls per the CS reps after 30 days of inactivity but to be honest this has left me with such a bad taste in my mouth that if I leave this time, its probably going to be for good.
