So I am sure that you have all heard of what was happening after the restarts with pallies doing insane amounts of DPS and damage. What I don't understand is Blizzard not punishing said players for the exploit. I am sure there were MANY cases of exploitation.
To be clear, we have no current plans to take action against players who experienced this bug last night unless we come across any extreme cases. The error was ours and we haven’t seen any evidence -- so far -- of players excessively exploiting the bug. We reserve the right to take action if we do find evidence of players crossing the line to repeatedly exploit this bug for major in-game advantages.
I love it how they wrote IF we find. OF course you will find evidence and yes the error was yours but your your Terms of use clearly states that:
C. Rules Related to Game Play.
(i) Using or exploiting errors in design, features which have not been documented, and/or "program bugs" to gain access that is otherwise not available, or to obtain a competitive advantage over other players.
So people that used this bug to complete server firsts/content that matters and pvp should get some sort of ban hammer. I would say its just, and only fair.
