Dear reader,
I was wondering whether it could be a good idea to start selling 300% xp from level 1 till 85 in the battle.net store. A lot of people ( inlcuding myself ) are not intrested in leveling characters all the way to 85, since it takes so long and is ( in our opinion ) very boring. We like to pvp etc. I would gladly pay €20,- or €30,- for just a 300% xp boost ( which you also get for RAFing ). This could make the game more appealing to pvp-orientated players. The people who do enjoy playing pve/ leveling characters can still just play the normal 100% xp, since they then just don't buy the boost.
Thank you for reading, I look forward to reading your replies.
Thanks for the responses, Actually, with heirlooms, rested XP, guild perks etc. you can vary your alt's levelling experience quite a lot. I'm in the process of levelling a new character and I found I could skip many of the zones I used to have to go through and try some of the others that I haven't visited since Cataclysm revamped things, I really enjoyed it! But then, I love levelling ;) Granted, once you hit Outland there are one or two zones that are tricky to avoid, but you really don't need to stay there very long with all these XP bonuses. Also, with all the dungeon quests located inside the instances now, you can get heaps of XP in one hit through doing each of them just once as you level. |
