Suggestion: Patrolling GMs makes wow friendlier?

blizz -> wysłany:
Lots of threads about how the community is becoming more and more rough are being created. Here is a suggestion from an old tbc player on how to make things better, maybe it's been discussed before but i haven't seen it.

The GMs in wow are by tradition invisible, I think the time has come to change that. Let them start patrolling and in a flashy new uniform, like security guards. At random times and at random servers or battlegroups, so they could turn up anytime.

Just as people are less likely to misbehave if they know there are security guards around irl, this knowledge will make players think before they flame etc.

If the GMs see something inappropriate they take action to steer up things and like a good security guard they use the soft way before they go hard and warn or ban.

So, what does the community think of this?

blizz -> wysłany:
Our GMs are constantly hard at work answering tickets, sometimes helping people who maybe can't log on to the game, or require other urgent assistance. Sadly, having GMs strolling around in-game on the lookout for any bad behaviour that may occur just isn't a wise use of their time. Also, bear in mind how many servers there are, and how many places they would need to 'patrol', when they can only be in one place at a time :(
