If I, say, were to make a thread complaining about disco lions, or some other dead horse, I would be scolded and told to use the search feature.
However, if I were to use the search feature to look up an old thread and post upon it, I would still be scolded, and possibly even banned for 'necroing'.
How do I win? Is there some sort of gap in these unsensible laws?
Would said thread be constructive and provide genuine feedback? Then by all means, feel free to share your thoughts and ideas! =)
This isn't too hard. Found a thread about the subject you wish to discuss? + Was the thread created or has not been commented on in over a month or so? = Create a new thread Found a thread about the subject you wish to discuss? + Was the thread created less than a month or so ago or still actively being commented on? = Post a comment that's civil and will hopefully encourage others to participate in the discussion. Remember, these forums are designed to be a friendly place for all active players to be able to converse with each other about any game-related aspect. Doing your part in keeping it this way is encouraged and deeply appreciated. EDIT: Clarity EDIT 2: I should also mention, when doing a search, be sure to click the Date sort option at the top of the list so you find the most recent thread rather than seeing a potentially older thread that was popular a while ago. |
