Paid Main Character change [suggestion]

blizz -> wysłany:
Ok this is just something that crossed my mind today so I wanted to share it here in public an see what you think.

So, lets say there was an option (that costs around 20£) lets call it 'main character change' that would transfer all of your reputation, achievements, professions, mounts, name etc to your alt and vice versa.

So basicaly you keep everything the same its just that your orc warrior is now your tauren druid and your tauren druid is now your orc warrior.

I hope you understand what im tryin to say :P

cheers

And to the people saying that it will devalue those who spend time getting the achievements on 2 chars. not really, they will still have the achievement on 2 chars. you are talking like its free transfering all achievement to all your chars. if its costs money its not like people can do it every time they relog.

But this is part of the problem. The people who could afford to pay to transfer their achievements to their new favourite character would do so, giving anyone who inspects them the impression they have achieved all that on that character. The other people who can't afford it will have to make do with a fresh character with fewer achievements, possibly affecting their chances of being invited to guilds or groups.

As it stands now, every in-game item you pay real money for is purely cosmetic, eg. mounts and pets, which are clearly identifiable as Blizzard store purchases. This suggested change would lead others to believe you had accomplished certain things on your new character. One of the problems I can see with this is that you simply may not be up to certain achievements with this new character, making the achievement misleading.
