I will likely be ditching my PC laptop for a MacBook Air, which according to other posts should be able to play WoW passably well. I'm curious though, do I need to purchase the game discs again or can I download it? Do I need to pay for htis again? I'd love to hear from anyone else who has made this switch.
And please, i'm looking for useful advice, I really dont want this to turn into a PC vs. Mac flamewar as I have seen happen on other threads. Also, if you have used MacBook air (specifically the new ones) I'd love any feedback on your user experience in playing WoW on them. Do they work well in instances, raids, BG, etc....Thanks.
You can install WoW on a PC or a Mac from https://us.battle.net/account/management/download/ or you can log into us.battle.net and go to Manage Games>Download Game Client>Full Install (Mac).
**If you are using Wi-Fi to perform the Digital Download, we would request testing via Ethernet cable connected directly to the modem** **School or Office networks using Proxies could interfere with the installer process as well causing it to get this and other errors** ________________________________________________ Klint P Mac Tech Support for Blizzard Entertainment || Mon - Fri 1:45pm - 10:45pm CST If you can't find it here, contact a rep direct :http://us.blizzard.com/en-us/company/about/contact.html https://www.surveymk.com/s/TKL88F8 <---- Rate my Blue post here...
