Why not just let them win?

blizz -> wysłany:

In certain bgs when its obvious our team will not have a chance at winning or even come close, why not simply speed up the process and let them win?

I know in certain pve fights when we are clearly not going to down the boss cause too much dps died or the dps isnt high enough, we simply wipe it and try again to save time. sooo why not the same mentality in pvp?

I've never been the type to just give-up. I've seen people early in a BG say, "just let them win" and that takes away the fun (for me) in giving it a try at least. I've been the only person harassing the "enemy" before, if only to show that at least one person on my team isn't rolling over.

If I enter a BG or Arena etc, it's because I want to compete and see how we match up. Just letting the other team win, just doesn't jive with me. I can't help it. I'm just stubborn that way. Besides, you just never know what one thing could turn the tides in your favor.

If it was quitting, we wouldn't run another bg. Its to save time... why draw out a long match when we can simply end it quick and earn more honor

Because for some people, it's not just about the honor you earn but the honor you own.
