I don't understand redirecting

blizz -> wysłany:

Welcome to the General Discussion forum! This forum is here to provide you with a friendly environment where you can discuss all aspects of World of Warcraft with your fellow players.

I have started or seen threads started that have after about 10-20 posts be redirected into another forum.

In my opinion as the opening Please Read thread states this forum is for all aspects of world of warcraft and is therefore probably on of the most widely read.

I post threads here that i would like a wide variety of responses not just from

A.) My Class Only
B.) PvPers Only
C.) PvEers Only

I understand the thread stays here but it no longer gets bumped hence reducing the number of replies reducing community input.

Wondering if anyone else has input on this or if they have ever been erked their post was redirected or maybe happy their post was redirected.

Threads asking for specific class advice "How do I play my class more effectively?" generally make more sense on a class forum since the posters there would naturally be more knowledgeable(*cross-talons*) and more likely to give relevant replies.

There are also three Class Role forums (Damage Dealing, Healing, Tanking) that may be what you're looking for if you want a wider pool of perspectives.
