It doesn't give you the right to ignore the posting guidelines or Code of Conduct.

We listen to everyone, including those who are the most critical of us. We even listen to those who feel that hyperbolic, world-ending rhetoric is the method of choice for being heard. We ban them, but we listen. :)

So, rather than tell us how we should be moderating, perhaps read through the posting guidelines and see if maybe there's something in there that might explain why we're moderating the way we are. Hell, you'd even find out that your thread is against the posting guidelines.

If you have an issue with any aspect of our forum moderation, you can always email [email protected]; because, as far as moderation is concerned, I don't care how unfair you think we're being. It doesn't give you license to create a thread and publicly dictate to us how to moderate.

This is what I see in the CoC:
HARASSING OR DEFAMATORY

This category includes both clear and masked language and/or links to websites containing such language or images which:

Insultingly refer to other characters, players, Blizzard employees, or groups of people
Result in ongoing harassment to other characters, players, Blizzard employees, or groups of people
If a player is found to have participated in such actions, he/she will:

Be given a temporary ban from the Battle.net forums, depending upon severity

I don't see where he violated that rule? There was no insult, nothing defamatory, and he didn't seem to be harassing you.

To be honest, forum moderators, and you in particular Zarhym, seem like cops who think laws don't apply to them. I've noticed you on multiple occassions get upset, lock a thread, etc when you feel like someone isn't bowing down before your power yet you get sarcastic with the player-base all the time. Maybe the players need a community of people watching YOU guys and making sure YOU aren't abusing power, because it seems to be happening on a more regular basis than it should be.

All posts must adhere to the Code of Conduct and Forum Guidelines. Locking thread for all of the violations below.

Forum Guidelines
http://us.battle.net/wow/en/forum/topic/900930866#2

■Using the words "Blizzard," "Blue," or any community team members' names in a thread topic is frowned upon.

Everyone would like Blizzard to read and acknowledge his or her post, and we understand that; however, use of such words in the subject line does not help that come to pass. Please make your thread title relevant to the post subject. Threads violating this guideline are subject to deletion.

■Do not post about locked or deleted threads.

Posts that are moderated have a reason behind the moderation. It's up to you to read the forum Code of Conduct and these guidelines to determine what you did wrong, learn from your mistake, and attempt to post again without breaking any rules.
