So I made a new character (with an awesome name by the way, Ballerina) and was killing things for my first quest when a guy invited me to a group and asked if I wanted 250g! I said something along the lines of "of course"!! He said before I give it to you, are you girl in real life? I said yes, already knowing where this was going to go, and knowing that it would be entertaining. He then asked me how old I was. 16. "Oh cool I'm 19" "Oh cool" "Can I have your facebook so we can keep in touch?" "Umm no I don't really give that out" "Oh cool" "Yeah" "How much do you weigh?" "110lbs you weirdo". THEN HE ASKED ME TO TAKE OFF MY CLOTHES. I dropped group at that point. He whispered me and said that he would give me the gold if I took off my character's shirt. So I'm like oh what the heck and did it. He then made some really inappropriate comments. At this point I'm running away and laughing. He whispers me again and says that he screen shot me with my shirt off and is reporting me to Blizzard for trying to get sexual with him - unless I come back and talk to him. LOL :) I kind of feel bad because he obviously has some kind of social impairment. But yeah. There's my little story for you.

That said, if you are in a situation where the other player is making you feel uncomfortable, place them on ignore, and report the situation to our Game Masters via in-game petition or e-mail to [email protected]. This can fall under our harassment policy, and it's best to simply end such conversations and continue to ignore the individual if they try to keep contacting you. Going around our ignore system is a violation in itself (termed Ongoing Harassment), and we appreciate if you continue to report situations like this in the future. |
