Blizzard's Stance On Solo PvPers In Rateds

So after reading the answers to PvP questions i can't believe my eyes about Blizzard's stubborn stance on a part of the game that should be accessible to as many as possible, did you people @ Blizzard forget that ? That its a game ? We all want to enjoy it.

Why discriminate to those who choose not to join a group organized by people who want to corrupt the system by asking for gold for points ? Some people can't even get into the very few available groups because they aren't a part of the said guild.

You couldn't address the following point which i was surprised at:

- No information on introducing an iLVL system similiar to heroics where its designed to keep Rated geared players out of Non-Rated BGs

Hope you know you've let solo players down in PvP Blizzard.

Id happily stick to doing non-rated BGs if i wasn't being hit on by rated-geared players who come to non-rated BGs to grief us lesser geared players.

They CAN come to where im restricted to PVP but i CAN'T go to where they ARE NOT restricted to PVP, see how its not FAIR ?

Break that and you'll satisfy alot of players

Battlegrounds have always been this way. Other players have their reasons for going into Battlegrounds, just as you do. So you can't call every player with better gear than you a griefer.

As mentioned in the Q&A #2, Battlegrounds do have a gear-matching system in place. It can only be so stringent with pitting similarly-geared players together though before the wait times sky rocket. We've gone to great lengths over the years to help players get into Battlegrounds quickly, while encouraging fun, competitive, engaging PvP gameplay. When anyone can solo queue for a Battleground though, there's only so much we can do on our end to encourage everyone to communicate, work together, and be competitive.

Rated Battlegrounds were released as an alternative to the death-match nature of Arenas, where players can take part in competitive, objective-based PvP to get the best rewards we have to offer. There has to be restrictions, however, on how players compete in rated Battlegrounds, otherwise there's no reason to have the distinction between the two game types.

You still have access to competitive gear via Battlegrounds, as you always have prior to the implementation of rated Battlegrounds. You will still go up against players with better gear than you too, as you always have in Battlegrounds. Battlegrounds make for a huge melting pot of players in all types of gear, and of varying degrees of skill. You can queue with friends or by yourself, play the games you want to play, get matched up pretty quickly, have some fun, own the enemy, and gain some nifty rewards. That's the accessibility and appeal of Battlegrounds, but the same model doesn't work for the competitive, coordination-oriented nature of rated Battlegrounds.
