About Blizzard and the Retrospective Video

blizz -> wysłany:
Just watched the Blizzard Retrospective Video.

I just wanted to take a moment and say that while I do not change my mind about anything I've ever disagreed with you guys on, I apologize if I ever said so in an insulting or disrespectful way.

You guys rock.

All the stuff you went through to make Blizzard what it is today, just wow.
This may sound like brown nosing, it's not. That's not me. I think temp bans and final warnings prove I'm not on the forums to kiss up.
It's just I would not have been able to experience all the fun and good memories I have, if it wasn't for you guys and the games you've created.

A million thanks, and keep up the work.

We're really happy you like the video, Shadie! We had a great time putting it together and really want players to hear from the movers and the shakers at Blizzard Entertainment all about how this company has become what it is today.

Even while I know many of those speaking in the video personally, I still absolutely love watching it for inspiration. I joined the company right around the release of World of Warcraft and was certainly an outsider. However, I quickly felt a unified sense of Blizzard culture bonding all of us here, which also serves as a bond between employees and players. Ultimately, this is a company of gamers after all. :)

As we continue to grow, we go to great lengths to ensure new employees get plenty of face time with our executives, especially Mike Morhaime, to learn all about what makes this company special. Being able to share a bit of that Blizzard culture with all of you in our 20th anniversary video is an absolute pleasure!

While we're definitely capable of making mistakes along the way -- and we have -- it's important for our Blizzard gamers to see the personalities and passions of those still shaping us into the Blizzard of today, tomorrow, and hopefully the distant future. ;)

If any of you have yet to check out the video, I strongly recommend it: http://us.battle.net/wow/en/blog/2428836
