What do WoW players want to see?

blizz -> wysłany:
I've played WoW since pre-release, and tried a few other online competitors along the way. In my opinion, I believe that WoW once of the best UI's (plus the many mods available), and intuitive gameplay of all the games i've played....great :-)

However, I look at these forums, and see disappointed players posting regularly, with people making negative comments about it, and how 'It's not what it used to be' etc.

There's no pointing posting 'I'm not playing anymore' or 'I'm off to play someting else', because Blizz can't influence that, without at least knowing what these disillusioned players want.

I've made a couple of posts before, most recently with an idea on what Archaeology could have been which is also can be found in the General forum, and personally for me, i'd like to see the following:-

What i'd like from Blizzard is a re-vamp of some parts of the world (ideally a couple of areas in every land sector in Azeroth where a level 85 needs to respect the enviornment. It may be a cave or a mine or some mountain top somewhere, but somewhere that a decent lvl85 can find a good challenge, and have a chance at some kind of reward/ach. I know I can solo old lower level raids/instances, but the rewards are not worthwhile. The Archaeology thread that i've posted elsewhere is an example of what i'd like to see
As i've said before, I currently have nothing motivating me to log in, other than raids. My guild raids 3 times per week, but since the introduction of the 10/25 man joint save, this has lead to compromises being made, and 3 decent raids per week is not always possible. So, other than 2 or 3 evenings raiding, my log in time is spent wondering what to do.

For me, chasing seasonal events for example, that offer no challenge other than a commitment of time does not really hold my attention. (in fact, I really dislike them and the whole non-challenging set of achievements that there are)

So please don't tell me to 'leave if i don't like WoW' :-) . If you like WoW as it is, then fine, then Blizz are doing a good job, but for maybe the many players that I see posting that seem more than a bit disillusioned, please post here and see what ideas come along, but please keep it positive. I'd be interested, and maybe Blizz would be too! :-)

"Please Blizzard, setup some kind of a gameplay thinktank/feedback system, to encourage all fee playing WoW players to offer some suggestion on what they would like to see."

The forums are here as a way for all players to give feedback on the game, Rosshawk. Making a thread like this doesn't really help matters, as there are now several topics in one thread. We would much rather players make a thread about a specific topic, give their thoughts, and let others add to them there, allowing discussion on that topic to grow.

Edit: Wrong on both counts, Ruia :-)
