2200 Weapons, not up,

blizz -> wysłany:
So the 2200 weapons have been pushed back not once but twice due to the fact that blizzard didn't want PvE'rs to feel forced to PvP for weapons to aid in their PvE progression and due to the fact that many PvE'rs weren't downing Heroic mode bosses. It was said that the 2200 weapons would be released today as a result of those pushbacks.

So the question is where are they and why is there no blizzard response at all as to why they aren't up, but i have a second question as well. Why is it you push back the PvP 372item (the only one) but you allow the multitude of 372items from heroic gear to be used in Rated Battlegrounds, where resilience is not the most desired statistic at all times.

Our team, Calm Down Rookie, is one of the highest rated RBG teams in the world, and we went from taking more games than we gave, to finding it impossible to match the damage dealing put out by the same team, "a team highly rated", in the course of one raid week. The only change in their strategy was to have a Shadow Priest and a Boomkin (two of the highest dps classes in the game) to sit back in 2500 resilience and about 10 items of heroic PvE gear to sit back and melt the team with no chance match their damage out put (it should be mentioned that every single dps on their team HAS their 372 weapons already, also that the preist and druid both have a static 15% damage decrease via shadowform/Moonkin Form which puts them at basicly wearing the equivialent of 4000 resilience). Do not take this the wrong way im not saying we cannot beat this team, there is a way, but it has become a mountain to climb instead of an evenly balanced match. And That's just one of the best PvE guilds in the country, soon all of the teams that do both will have a decisive advantage as the gear becomes more readliy available.

So my new question to blizzard would be, why is it that you feel it unfair to put players who primarily PvE to feel forced to PvP, but not the other way around? As it stands at the moment even if you release 2200 weapons PvP players will only have access to a single 372 item and no pure dps trinkets like our counterparts. Their items have more iLevel which means better stats and they are not stacked with a high budget statistic that is undesirable in RBG's at times (you can swap gear in RBG's so if situationally it becomes beneficial you can switch it) and the PvP items have no chance to compete.

So there it is, i really do hope for a blizzard response because as it is we really feel the same as you have described a PvE player might be to get their 2200 weapons(that still dont exist).

*edited to remove the speific team mentioned *
blizz -> wysłany:
I'll be brief and direct. The PvP item vendors were a little slow on stocking their shelves. They should have them restocked shortly (give or take a few extra if need be.)

They should have these weapons available very soon. We'll keep an eye on things should there be further delays.

"very soon" as in some time today? or "very soon(tm)"?

Today, now, shortly, depending on the process on our end, but yes, we're pushing the vendors out there with their updated inventory. Sorry for the delay all!
