Address to Hotfix Dungeon finder.

blizz -> wysłany:
I felt I wanted to address a few issues and side issues regarding these hotfixes. While I understand exploits and less appropriate behaviour occurs, as always when it is even the slightest bit of room for it, a few of the changes are really punishing the players who are capable of doing the harder instances, and granting the players who arent a sort of sanctuary within the same.

I agree to the first two, those are both less than pleasant behaviour and punishment, or disciplining is quite a valid solution.

Third paragraph however states that you can look forward to 2 hours of hell if the two other players are both players who arent even near pulling their weight. I have done many instanses as a 3 some plus 2 randoms and you dont kick someone unless they really destroy your chances of making bosses / the instance. This allows them to stay on continuing to really ruin the run, the day, the game for the rest of us. Unless ofc one of them votes with us, not realizing hes next in line.

Fourth paragraph. Usually, if you have 4 people you dont need to kick someone for any reason whatsoever, because your groupqueue members are quality and will manage with about anything for fifth. We did a Vortex pinnacle with me (shadowpriest) and my brother, (also sp) doing most of the tanking, because the tank couldnt tank one bit. He claimed cataclysm ruined him as a tank btw, hehe. However, one time we had to remove a retripally who was pulling 1400 dps, 2000 when he really really tried. This was in grim batol, before the nerf to boss adds, we had little chance to stop the adds with this as a fifth, removing him gave us another retripally, pulling 4k dps. After a few more wipes, he, being a mature person with a brain, said himself that he was the reason we were failing and excusing himself from the group. If this would have been next week and the pally was determined to go on, we would basically have endless wipes on Erudax to look forward to. Do you think this is reasonable? After all, you yourselves have stated that you wanted heroic instances to be harder, and if found to hard for some players, they should stick to normals. But now you grant players who arent supposed to be doing them sanctuary. Where our choice is just leave the dungeon and accept a dungeon queue penalty wait time before signing again.
This rings unfair to me, after all this game is incredibly time consuming, and without certain additions to your hotfix youre basically making the game more time consuming for us who likes instances and actually accept random members in the group. I have guildies who say: "guild group or I am not going" Is that what you strive for?

Another "exploit" you have when it comes to instances is the itemlevel exploiting. People get 339 pvp items and put them in their bags and voila, they can do heroics, pulling 4k dps or tanking with 90k health etc etc, you catch my drift. This is a big a problem to heroic issues as the tank/healer signing issue. This really ruins the runs for people who are actually qualified gearwise. I dont know code, so I dont know if a solution is viable. But making the ilvl needed as equipped rather than average, and making all pvp items have lower value in the eyes of the dungeon finder, is definitely a start. I must admit, after your hotfixes, who knows, maybe I will also start yelling "guild group or I am no going", after all, short instances should not take 2+ hours.

Im sorry for the lengthyness, I tried not to rant, you be the judge.
