Raise the roof of Azeroth

At the moment I travel around Kalimdor a lot in my quest for Night Elf and Fossil fragments... oh wait, Tolvir fragments, and I'm getting a bit annoyed by my mounts squealing when I fly around, over the tree tops, or sometimes a bit below. It's especially bad around the foot of Mount Hyjal, since the ground level difference is so big. Ashenvale is the most annoying place to fly through, if I had to choose an area to single out, since I can fly below the visible tree tops, and my mount will still moan.

I can't imagine that it'll take much time to carve a big chunk out of the invisible sky, though I guess I can understand that there might be a reason why you don't want people to fly around in "Mount Hyjal heights" around the rest of Kalimdor. Some direct line of sight "carving" from Orgrimmar to Hyjal etc would be nice though, so we don't have to fly low, and then up when we get close to the foot of Hyjal, but can fly straight there, from the far edges of the surrounding zones.

Please get out the big cheese slicer!

Sick of hitting invisible walls while flying? We agree that the sky being a bit uneven in places isn't great. We would like to adjust the sky height and generally ensure it's a bit more even than it currently is. It's one of those things on our "to do... sometime" list, however.
