I feel that this issue has to be raised as it was around in vanilla wow and is still around in cata wow.
Homophobia.
Now, most of you are going to look at this and think 'Whatever' but I feel it's a big issure that needs addressing. Homophobia still exists in modern day society - granted, and is surprissingly common on the internet despite the vast amounts of information about ourselves that we put on 'display'.
Personally, I have encountered homophobia in WoW twice. The first time was a few years ago where some homophobic comments were made in guild chat and this lead to a guild collapse and hence my leaving WoW. The second time was more recently, by a child who admitted to still being in school.
I beleive that this person should've been skewered and roasted on a spit but, alas, one can only dream. I do think that Blizzard should consider adopting an 'Anti-Homophobia' policy wherein a person or persons who have been subjected to homophobia or have seen it happen right before thier eyes should have the choice; 'Does this person deserve to be reported as a biggot, and if so what should the punishment be?'
I, myself, would suggest that the player be banned from playing WoW for a long time.
Please talk amongst yourselves or with yourself and leave your views and comments on this issue.
Please note that you may only comment on the issue and not start spouting homophobic comments.
