Hacked?

blizz -> wysłany:
When I logged on today, I was shocked to see that my main and his first helper had lost all their armor and weapons. My main was just fine last night and was level 80. Now he is 81 and near naked. I wonder if this is a glitch or I got hacked. Either way it's a shame and dissappointing. My main had all blue and purple level 80 armor and weapons. I shudder to guess how much it will cost me to fix. Look at my photo icon to the left. All he is wearing is his rep tabard. I'll send a ticket and see what is said.

Has this happened to others? Is this common?
blizz -> wysłany:
Such cases are unfortunately more common than we'd prefer, Yramag. However, there is much you can do to help prevent such a situation from reoccurring.

First and foremost, computer and account security should be your first concern. Change your password for both your Battle.net account and your registered Battle.net e-mail address, especially if they are similar in any way. You may also consider changing the e-mail associated to your Battle.net account, especially if you've noticed you receive a lot a spam mail or fake e-mails from Blizzard - this means those that would compromise your account already know half your information (login name), so it's best to move on to a new address, even better if it's an e-mail you only use for your Battle.net account.

In addition, you should run some virus and malware scans. One of the popular methods of "hacking" an account is to send you malicious software to steal or "keylog" your information. We have some recommendations of programs to use in the articles I've linked below.

Lastly is reporting the situation to us. As you already have a petition in, there's no need for action on this step. >^.^<
