I though I'd open this thread in response to a good debate in a guild channel, Cata has been out for more than a month now, this thread is about your first experiences through the new and revised zones in the game, What made it your favourite, a quest? A moment of PvP? Perhaps that crazy time when you grouped for that boss mob, how did that make the zone memorable for you?
You can have more than one favourite :D
Having recently levelled this character through the revised Stonetalon zone, I was impressed by the quality of plot in the quests and the progression through the ranks in the army.
The Story definately made it seem like I was in a proper RPG, and not just in an XP grind.
The conclusion is pretty amazing, I won't spoil it, but it make me open my eyes a bit while burning the midnight juice that night.
Also in the newer content; At the CoC in Twilight Highlands on the first few weeks of Cata was insane, trying to defeat a boss while slightly undergeared, while trying to survive in a whole PvP war raging on around you, as people fight for quest starts, insane.
But I got my sword in the end though. \o/
I won't give too much away in case people haven't tried them yet, but absolutely love the quests in Un'Goro Crater involving Maximillian of Northshire. I genuinely laughed 'til I cried, doing his various tasks.
I'm not too big to admit I cried a little bit over Marley Twinbraid in Southern Barrens too *sniff* |
